Eracura are delighted to have won a contract working with FCP Partners to support the DfT in a review of the use of Bio-toilet technology on the GB rail system. The team will review the environmental licensing and operational issues surrounding the deployment of this innovative technology on the GB rail network.
Eracura personnel are Associates of First Class Partnerships (FCP), and as such have had a long relationship helping a multitude of clients. We are now engaged via FCP with helping Hitachi Rail Europe with their bids for new rolling stock providing both sustainability advice and bid quality management services.

Following on from the first phase of work with RSSB, and in response to Jo Johnson, Minister of State for the Department for Transport request for the industry to develop a carbon reduction strategy by September 2018, we have been pleased to help develop a preliminary road map of activity. We have also helped to develop RSSB’s approach to the rapidly developing position on air pollution.
We are pleased to say announce we will be working with RSSB to review the progress that has been made in embedding the Rail Industry Sustainable Development Principles across the industry. We anticipate identifying gaps and developing a priority list of issues for a refreshed sustainable development strategy to address.
Eracura has been asked by Abellio Group to help with their bid for the new Southeastern rail franchise due to be submitted in March 2018. Our role will be in addressing the DfT requirements for sustainable development including environmental improvements.

Eracura is excited about the prospect of helping Abellio Group mobilise its new West Midlands franchise which starts in December 2017, and helping it through the transition period as West Midlands Trains Ltd. We helped Abellio with their successful bid, developing their approach to sustainability and included some exciting initiatives especially around broader community engagement.
